Privacy Policy

The East Side Learning Center (ESLC) deeply values all contributions and contacts that sustain its mission. ESLC maintains high standards to protect the privacy of its donors and contacts. Any information you provide on the ESLC website or any social media associated with ESLC will not be sold, traded, or shared to any third party or used for any other reason than ESLC
reporting and data-tracking purposes.

Ways information about you is used:

East Side Learning Center may use your email and other information provided on registration and donations forms hosted on this website, the www.givemn.org fundraising site, the www.MailChimp.com email outreach site to send you updates about programs and services.
ESLC may also send emails to anyone whose email address you provide us (as in Recruit a Tutor). When information is used in this
way, the sole intention is to grow supporters and spread awareness of ESLC programs and services.
Donors: Please note that we are required by the IRS to maintain donor contact information in relation to contributions. This information is not available to the public and is never published. Donor names are published in ESLC communication material and media, unless a donor requests his/her contributions and/or name not be listed.

How we collect information:

Information you voluntarily provide: When you apply to be a volunteer, donate money online, or sign up to receive our newsletter. Such information may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address and phone number (the things you provide on the volunteer application form). If donating money through ESLC’s GiveMN page, you may be asked to provide credit card information.
Other information: When you visit the ESLC website we may be able to access information about your IP address and/or domain name. The ESLC may use cookies in order to provide certain services on our website. A cookie is a small file sent out by a website to the user’s browser and then stored on the user’s hard drive. You can change your internet settings to automatically reject cookies then manually accept the ones you want. This information is not used to identify you personally.

A user may not add, alter, substitute or amend any material on our website.

A link on East Side Learning Center’s website or affiliated social media may lead to a site with content not necessarily reflecting the mission and values of ESLC. Links do not imply endorsement of content. Links provide relevant information but are not controlled by ESLC, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites.

Security: East Side Learning Center uses industry-standard security systems to make sure our website is secure. We do not guarantee that our server or websites to which we link are free from viruses.

Donation Refund Policy

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Automated Recurring Donation Cancellation

Ongoing support is important to enabling projects to continue their work, so we encourage donors to continue to contribute to projects over time. But if you must cancel your recurring donation, please notify us.
