During the summer and a few times during the school year, ESLC hosts family-friendly events. In January of each year, we offer families participating in the virtual program an opportunity to gather in person. Tutors, site coordinators, students, and ESLC staff come together for a fun family night! In May of each year, students and families join us for a carnival, celebrating the outstanding accomplishments during the school year. During the summer, families come together weekly for a meal, join in on literacy activities, and see Rader's Theatre performances. Throughout the year, we send home books and literacy activities; parents appreciate the opportunity to be part of their children's literacy progress.
